This locally handcrafted ale is unfiltered and unpasteurized to enhance its character It is brewed with the finest Canadian Barley, hops, pure water and our signature yeast. Because this beer is naturally carbonated, it may have a light dusting of yeast at the bottom. Pour it slowly to leave the yeast in the bottle, or pour it in, it tastes great!

341 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a stem glass. Pours clear golden with a moderate, fluffy off-white head that mostly remains and leaves a moderate amount of fine lace. The nose has big notes of grapefruit and resin along with a touch of pale malt. The flavour is quite bitter with big grapefruit notes and a touch of tropical fruit. Hops are dominant, but pale malts and a touch of caramel come through as well. The finish is long and bitter with grapefruit notes from the nose. On the palate it is medium in body with a dry texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a decent IPA, but it is somewhat one-dimensionally grapefruit. 2013-04-21

Nice golden pour with a foamy white head with sufficient lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit and citrus. Taste of grapefruit/lemon with a strong hop burst leading to a nice bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very enjoyable clean crisp IPA. Pours golden with sufficient foamy head. Smells of citrusy hops, but not overly so. Tastes of slight grapefruit and lemon citrus with a light bittering finish. Very sessionable.

6-pack from the LCBO. Pours clear and golden. Aroma sweet malt and C-hop candy. Taste starts off with nice sweet malt, moving quickly into bitter and sour citrus fruits. Good body and carbonation. Nice.

From bottle. Great zesty citrus grapefruit aroma up front that does not go away. Taste is smooth and only a very mild bitter. Very drinkable. Pours a clear light golden colour.

341 ml bottle, 6.5% a/v Pours a rich gold with a nice slightly offwhite head. Aroma is big time citrus and pine hops, a bit of caramel and alcohol subnotes. The taste is also very hoppy, but fairly well balanced by the malt. You have to love hops to love this beer but thankfully i LOVE them. Palate is great and retains the hop bitterness for a long time, very effervescent with the carbonation. Overall a pretty good brew!

341 mL bottle. I assume. Could be 355. I didn’t look. Orange-golden with a nice, sticky, white head. Hoppy aroma - mostly pine. Same for the flavour. More hop flavour than bitterness. Not that this beer is sweet or anything. There is bitterness in the finish. Nice IPA, and it stands out because of the pine, rather than the sitrus flavour that most North American IPAs lean toward.

Pours dark golden with a foamy head that sticks around as a light covering. Lots of lacing. Nose is pine with maybe a hint of garlic. Aromas are pine, grapefruit, maybe some garlic and a very faint biscuit in the background. Taste is mostly in the stong bitterness in the end. Medium body with some silkyness. Nice beer!

Nice strong piney/citrus aroma on this one. The pine is the predominant note here. Fairly clear with a golden color, long lasting white head. Taste is very much representative of the nose, pine comes through right away, but some oniony and grapefruit notes come through as well. A bit of biscuity malt. Taste is very short-lived, a watery aftertaste and bitterness on the palate is the only thing that lingers very shortly after a sip. Medium bodied. A bit unbalanced but a pretty good and assertive IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2013 Slightly hazy, dark amber IPA. Potent hoppy nose. Full flavoured, with tones of apricot. Well balanced and fresh with lots of hops, but a modest ABV. I liked it a lot. Nice sessionable IPA.
