3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
How an IPA is actually meant to be. Take not other BC breweries. Definitely worth a try.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Golden amber colour, mostly clear with lots of tiny floating yeast, white head quickly dissipates. Aroma is zesty citrus and some light tropical fruit. Flavour is fairly bitter, citrus zest with some tropical fruit and grassy notes. A bitter but quite tasty IPA. A touch watery texture considering the ABV, but still lots of flavour.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle into IPA. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour. Aroma is earthy pine and slight citrus. Taste is pretty much the same but with a little malt backbone. Pretty good IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - 341ml. Golden body with good carbonation and a thin, lasting, white creamy/foamy head. Sharp hoppy aroma with grapefruit and lemon hints. Its sharp, robust, hoppy taste carries citrusy and herbal notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy pale orange with a tight white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong pine with citrus, grass and toffee. Light sweet start with a big grapefruit bitterness to follow. Medium slick mouth with a long crisp dry finish. Excellent.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Originally rated March 2013. Nice to see the LCBO getting some West Coast IPAs (as this one and the one I tried last night from Green Flash). Pours a rich golden colour with a foamy-creamy head that has good retention and decent lacing. Nice fresh grassy hop aromas, but not just Cascades (as I do not get much grapefruit and the pine is mild). Mixed with other hops. After a while, the scent changes. Fruitier and sweeter, with caramel (and something else odd). For the taste, I am getting something weird. I am thinking it is the other malts with the Cascades that don’t mix well. On the vegetable side. Thankfully, some light bitterness shows up in the finish to take over. Not really a fan of this one (preferred the Green Flash IPA).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cool name, cool picture. Had to get it. Bought a six pack and drank the whole thing, it was a great session IPA. It was very well balanced with its malt and big juicy grapefruit hop flavour. It had just the right amount of bitterness all the way through and no big bitter kick at the end, so you could easily go back for more.
