Bottle@Victoria, Canada. Vibrant golden beer with strong smooth white head. The aroma is fruity with a touch of lavender and dry. Bthe flavour is very dry with a well hopped watery body and finish. Overall a nice very well hopped dry beer, plenty of hops.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
341ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that has decent retention and leaves a thin film of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and citrus hops with some light caramel. Taste is big bold citrus and grassy hop bitterness over an underlying malty sweetness. Medium body and lively carbonation leave a pleasant sensation on the pallet. A nice IPA style brew, but many are much better balanced that this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy orange blonde color wih yeast in suspension. Aroma of grapefruit ans spices. Strong flavor of grapefruit, spices and something sweet, maybe caramel, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not bad at all, an entertaining and enjoyable IPA but not an excellent one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is west coast hops, citrusy, dark orange, pours a swell cream head. Flavour begins with a nice hoppy kick, followed by a comforting malt backbone. Rather full bodied, pleasantly bitter. Very good. Kudos to Ralph @ Volo for scoring this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
341 ml bottle purchased at "The Strath" Ale, Wine and Spirit Merchants at the Strathcona Hotel in Victoria, BC. Pour is hazed orange, golden and tan. Foam on the head charged up the glass on the pour, then settled in normally. Aroma of strong resin hop, pine, citrus and some nice earthiness. Taste is resembles the nose; much resin, pine and citrus -- balanced with a nice sturdy malt backbone. There is some earthiness in the malt as well, giving this beer almost a charcoal smokiness. All of the mentioned flavors integrate nicely, and the palate is serious enough to hold it all together, yet still drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
05-Aug-10 (341-ml bottle: Gift from SDbruboy, thanks Cliff!) Aromas of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and grass create a solid first impression for this IPA. Flavors of composted grass, dust, earth, tangerine, and grapefruit rind are pleasant. However, with a somewhat muted malt profile and unintegrated hop bitterness, the beer seems a bit hollow. Both the flavor and nose really take on strong vegetal notes after only a few minutes. Light medium in body with moderate carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. The body is hazy and pale golden in color, and is capped by nearly an inch of creamy, white foam that, as it slowly settles to a thin layer, deposits an elaborate web of intricate, patchy lace. Overall, a decent, though somewhat disjoint IPA that doesnít destroy the taste buds with overwhelming bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
My bottle, shared with Blankboy and Hogtown Harry, courtesy of a trade with Joe McPhee. Nice hop hose, sharp, fresh, and citrusy. Light orange, bubbly white head. Lovely balanced citrus hop / malt taste - right on style. Hops are slightly sharp. Soapy light mouthfeel - thin but appropriate. Better balanced than the excellent Double IPA. A real pleasure to drink.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Volo. Clear golden-amber with a small white head. Resiny hop nose, lots of orange blossom and caramel malt - nice! Flavour holds a solid balance of grapefruity hops and sweet malt. A very good IPA - Iíll be enjoying more of these at Volo come patio season.

Fairly interesting, with floral and hints of orange in the nose and a bold bitter finish, to end things off.
