3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from CBB. Hazy blond, low fine head. Nose of orange, honey, bread, peach. More yeasty flavor, citrus, honey, bread, Belgian yeast spice. Strong bitterness, long lasting. Clean and tasty. Good American tripel, I would say.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a little hazy golden colour with big soapy white head and sticky lace up the glass. Aromas of grassy, piney, and some citrus hops, and mild malty sweetness with a fruity belgian yeast profile. Flavours are medium-high earthy bitterness, some pine and light lemony-citrus, and faint malty sweetness. Tasty beer.

Very citrousy and grass / straw aroma. Hoppy and bitter taste that lingers. Pours a somewhat cloudy auburn colour with a substantial head. Very tasty.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice enough brew! Pours darkish straw, hazy, with a significant foamy head and long lacing. Nose is pretty muted, some yeast, maybe some citrus. Lots of juicy flavours... Up front some piney hops, some citrus, some sweeter fruit in the background, and the finish is yeasty and some grassy hops. Tastes are light sweet and medium bitterness. Medium body with lively carbonation. Solid beer for sure, but this is more Belgian than ipa.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light hazy golden color with a HUGE, dense, white head. Aroma is pretty hoppy with a lot of earthy hop notes, mild citrus and just a touch of pine late. Flavor has a strong earthy hoppiness come through first with a mile pine and light citrus kiss late in the flavor. Malt contributes a very light sweetness but not much is detected. Body is modest with a moderate amount of carbonation. This brew produced one of the craziest heads I have seen as it was super thick and didnít want to dissolve at over time, reminiscent of a root beer float. Overall a pretty tasty brew. The belgian portion of this brew is lost under the hops. Flavor has a lot of pelleted hops smell in the taste.....that dense hops aroma that you can taste when you are adding the hops to your brew.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with nice hop aroma. Flavor is disappointing. Lots of earthy/grass flavors that take over the beer. Very average.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2012 Large bottle. I must say I did not care for this brew at first try. Itís a super hoppy IPA, but the hops are very unusual. More piney and grassy by far than Iím used to. By the end of the bottle I now have a new favorite IPA!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy green golden ale with a creamy white head. Aromatic hops on a Belgian fruit funk, nicely balanced. Chewy mellow body. Aromatic finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 650ml bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a lighter golden colour than I expected, with a thick and rich white head. Has a pleasant pine-y aroma from the hops, and the distinct smell of the Belgian yeast. Citrus and bready yeast tastes predominantly, with a bit of pine. Ends with a short, slightly bitter finish. A decent Belgian IPA, but not the best in its class.
