Jul 19, 2008 Had this in a cask at Central City’s Cask fest. Very clear straw colour that looks fabulous in the light. Quick-falling head, soapy nose. Great big hops - very floral. This is a solid IPA.

Jul 15, 2008 Bouteille de 341 ml partagé avec jerc et Mabel à Vole (Toronto), le 12/7/08. Arome d’houblon un peu amère, un peu d’agrume. Goût d’houblon tres amère, faiblement fruité et caramelisé. Bien mais pas assez savoureuse!

Feb 21, 2008 A dark golden orange ale with a thin big bubbled head. A pleasant fragrant hops with meaty notes, mint, fresh. In mouth, a good balance of biscuit malt and floral hops, lingering pleasantly, not over the top, light berry notes. Nice offering from BC. Bieropholie.

Nov 15, 2007 Bottle thanks to CapFlu! Poured an explosive clear medium golden with a head that took up almost the entire glass. The aroma picked up more and more soapy notes as it warmed.. started out with dusty citrus fruits (tangerine and grapefruit).. floral came through as well. The flavor had more of the juicy citrus fruits.. grapefruit with a tangy tangerine twist.. floral bitterness was heavy on the back-end and finish.. tasty. Medium-bodied with oppressively high carbonation.. fills the mouth with foam.. nice use of citrus and high bitterness on the back.

Oct 28, 2007 Bottle courtesy of boutip. Pours copper with a huge white head. Smells of bitter citrus, some soap, biscuits. Tastes of a nice blend of caramel, lemons, oranges, some pepper and spices, wildflowers and a bit resiny. Nicely balanced finish.

Oct 15, 2007 Piney hop aroma, some malt. Pours cloudy orange. Mid range malt. Hoppy citrus and pine finish. Enjoyable.

Oct 15, 2007 Brown bottle, 355 ml, via Importations Privées Bièropholie, savoured on October 15 2007; eye: voluminous white head: 7 fingers of head for 2 fingers of beer, head looks like melting ice cream when it diminishes, golden, slightly hazy, light effervescence, lots of lacing; nose: nice fresh hops, grapefruit, light malt, light caramel, orange zest; mouth: astringency, hops, light acridness, malt supports nicely the hops, pine, a bit of pepper, a bit of orange, finale in dry bitterness with a hint of pine, mild astringency, mildly bitter, slightly sweet, medium body, slightly harsh texture, average carbonation; overall: nice surprise

Bouteille brune, 355 ml, via Importations Privées Bièropholie, savourée le 15 octobre 2007; œil : mousse blanche abondante : 7 doigts de mousse pour 2 doigts de bière, mousse ressemble à de la crème glacée fondante lorsqu’elle diminue, dorée, très légèrement voilée, légère effervescence, beaucoup de dentelle; nez : beau houblon frais, pamplemousse, léger malt, léger caramel, zeste d’orange; bouche : astringence, houblon, légère âcreté, malt supporte bien le houblon, pin, un peu de poivre, un peu d’orange, finale en amertume sèche avec une pointe de pin, astringence moyenne, moyennement amère, très légèrement sucrée, corps moyen, texture légèrement rugueuse, carbonatation moyenne; en résumé : belle surprise
