Great IPA. the pour is of a hazy yellow with orange highlights. A finger of off-white head that leaves nice lacing rings. The nose is floral with a prominent floral hop and grapefruit notes with light malts and slight resinous hop presence. In the middle, a sweet caramel malt with medium grapefruit and nice floral notes. The finish is sweet and hoppy with a fantastic bitter hop and dry prolonged hop finish. This is a great Ipa overall.

Bottle in Toronto. A good IPA. Decent flowery citrus aroma. Bitter citrus flavour..maybe a little watery. Decent.

Found this in can in a little cafe in downtown Victoria. Drank with a sandwich on a glorious sunny afternoon and it hit the bill for such a day quite nicely.

How an IPA is actually meant to be. Take not other BC breweries. Definitely worth a try.

Bottle at Papsø. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is peach, citrus, grass and caramel. The flavour is peaches, citrus, pine and light grape fruit.

[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration,smooth grapefruit and orange - citrus, peppery hops, pine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110418]

Had the opportunity to drink this stuff while on holiday in B.C. My favourite of the trip, I even brought a bottle home from my final six-pack for my fellow beer enthusiast Mal to try, and he was suitabily impressed. I love this style, and I’m glad we’re starting to get stuck in in England. If you like Summer Wine Diablo and Thornbridge Jaipur, you’ll like this.
