COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This locally handcrafted ale is unfiltered and unpasteurized to enhance its character It is brewed with the finest Canadian Barley, hops, pure water and our signature yeast. Because this beer is naturally carbonated, it may have a light dusting of yeast at the bottom. Pour it slowly to leave the yeast in the bottle, or pour it in, it tastes great!

Caramel malt sweetness rounds out the citrusy grapefruit-lime and pine hops that dominate the aroma. Hazy deeep golden-copper body is topped by a low white head that recedes rapidly to a large bubbled partial cover. Biscuity malt character is quickly joined by very strong grapefruit citrus hop flavour and even stronger bitterness. Malt body is overwhelmed somewhat by the hops leaving the body feeling a bit thin. Strong carbonation is quite sharp and prickly. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Nov-06).

Nice aroma of citrus and some husky grainy malts. Light sweetness, good citrus, lightly herbaceous. Pours golden, nice head and lace. The flavor is nice and citrusy, bright, herbal, grainy, a little sweetness here and there, more citrus. Refreshing, drinkable. In my opinion really well done and extremely enjoyable. Really a solid house IPA. Good stuff here.

Poured a clear amber color with a thin white head. Citrusy hops intertwined with sweet malt. Flavor is light in malt with hop middle and a long dry bitter finish. Nice IPa might be a little light though in the body.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear bubbly orange with a small diminishing white head. Very nice aroma of hops, hops, hops! Fresh citrus hops nicely balanced with some sweet malt. Flavour’s also nice and hoppy but a tad thin -- great lasting bitterness to it though. Wow, this was a nice surprise and a great way to start our tasting. A solid IPA.

Hazy orange amber with a thin creamsicle-coloured head. Big fruity-fresh aromas initially after the pour, then as it settles it becomes more resinous and piney. Classic grapefruit and resin hop character in generous proportions with a healthy malt base. A very well-made IPA.

[1528-20080712] 355mL bottle. Muted orange hops aroma has fruity leafy hints. Hazy, orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Hoppy navel orange flavour. Medium body. Solid IPA, not too assertive.

Good lasting head. Thick looking gold beer. Gentle aroma of flowers and honey. Agressive hop start and stronger finish . Hop spiciness throughout and a trace of soap in the first sip only. Malt is just strong enough to support the hops and no further.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2006 (Bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store on Cambie for $1.82. Pours a large, white frothy head with an orange amber body. Nose of fully-infused West Coast hops. Lovely sweet and elixir texture mixed with a tart hoppiness. I love this beer.
