4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Rating No. 1500. 650ml bottle from Jasper Liquor Store & Wine Cellar. Beautiful clear pale gold beer, equally beautiful aroma - fruit salad and pineapple abound. Effervescent palate, becoming dry and rounded with a lovely spicy note on the back of the throat. One of the 6 that made it back in the suitcase from Canada, really pleased it did!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear light gold with two fingers of foamy white head diminishing to a thin skim and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is hop forward, lots of Mosaic citrus, pine, and tropical fruit, but with a hint of caramel malt. Taste starts balanced sweet and bitter, but the bitter grows to dominate, becoming almost peppery. Mouth feel is slightly watery and light bodied, with a lingering bitter, sticky finish.
Quite nice! Flavour starts surprisingly mild, given the nose, but the hop bitterness and peppery bite build as the bottle progresses. The crystal clear appearance of this beer suggests this to be a far less enthusiastic IPA than it actually is. Not quite as robust as their Amnesiac, but it makes up for that in the very decent finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly hazy, light amber, thin head. All honeydew and cantaloupe, mosaic-style, Very fresh crunchy, yummy, malt taste is actually what stands out first. Decent bitterness, almost pithy, and moving into those melony hops. Finishes with great balance between fresh, fruity melon hops and the best malt character Iíve ever experienced in a Phillips beer. Really good, but it got really chewy as it warmed.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pure citrus flavour with a very very weak pine. There is some malt taste in there but itís mostly citrus. A nice IPA for those like myself that canít stand pine.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is that of grapefruit, citrus and clove. Taste is a sweet maltiness that is dominated by hopiness that leaves a distinct bitterness. Body is a slightly ha, y gold with a frothy head that retains well.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled sample. Gold in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are quite grassy, with hints of white grapefruit and pine resin. Flavours are grassy and melon-like, with white pepper and dusty grains. Fairly bitter and medium bodied. Ok overall, but lacks a certain juicy quality that would have made it great.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice sized head, dark yellow/orange hue. Robust yeast, lemon and hops scent. Medium body, quite smooth, and very hoppy. Hops dominates the flavour, but grassy, earthy elements are present as well. Lingering bitterness. I like.
