Boat loads of mosaic hops, famous for their hop-tropic punch to the palate, really shine in this seasonal IPA featuring flavours of guava and mango. Subtle IPA bitterness keeps everything fresh for a tasting experience that’s symmetrically balanced any way you spin it.

Ma bouteille est un peu vieille donc elle a perdu de son oumf. Tout de même elle présente une belle amertume résineuse avec nuances florales.

Bottle. Strong grapefruit and orange peel aroma. Golden in colour with a large and frothy head. Sharp hoppy flavour - lots of grapefruit. Full bodied with strong bitterness in the finish. Not for the feint hearted.

Bottle. light hazy golden, offwhite lace. Heavy dank hop aroma , very Wharf St. Medium body, a bit slimy, medium light malt, minty, dank hops, not overly cloying resin though. Interesting.

Faintly hazy amber, foamy white head, good lacing. Aroma is powerful grapefruit, some resin, and citrus. Taste is sweet caramel and toffee, full bodied, average carbonation, and a lingering grapefruit aftertaste. Pretty good, but the grapefruit is a bit much for me.

Rating No. 1500. 650ml bottle from Jasper Liquor Store & Wine Cellar. Beautiful clear pale gold beer, equally beautiful aroma - fruit salad and pineapple abound. Effervescent palate, becoming dry and rounded with a lovely spicy note on the back of the throat. One of the 6 that made it back in the suitcase from Canada, really pleased it did!

Pours a clear light gold with two fingers of foamy white head diminishing to a thin skim and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is hop forward, lots of Mosaic citrus, pine, and tropical fruit, but with a hint of caramel malt. Taste starts balanced sweet and bitter, but the bitter grows to dominate, becoming almost peppery. Mouth feel is slightly watery and light bodied, with a lingering bitter, sticky finish. Quite nice! Flavour starts surprisingly mild, given the nose, but the hop bitterness and peppery bite build as the bottle progresses. The crystal clear appearance of this beer suggests this to be a far less enthusiastic IPA than it actually is. Not quite as robust as their Amnesiac, but it makes up for that in the very decent finish.

Pours clear deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is hoppy fruity piny citric dome carsmel and malts. Flavor similar to aroma, sessionable with a nice bitter bite.

Slightly hazy, light amber, thin head. All honeydew and cantaloupe, mosaic-style, Very fresh crunchy, yummy, malt taste is actually what stands out first. Decent bitterness, almost pithy, and moving into those melony hops. Finishes with great balance between fresh, fruity melon hops and the best malt character I’ve ever experienced in a Phillips beer. Really good, but it got really chewy as it warmed.
