COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boat loads of mosaic hops, famous for their hop-tropic punch to the palate, really shine in this seasonal IPA featuring flavours of guava and mango. Subtle IPA bitterness keeps everything fresh for a tasting experience that’s symmetrically balanced any way you spin it.

Pours a clear light gold with two fingers of foamy white head diminishing to a thin skim and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is hop forward, lots of Mosaic citrus, pine, and tropical fruit, but with a hint of caramel malt. Taste starts balanced sweet and bitter, but the bitter grows to dominate, becoming almost peppery. Mouth feel is slightly watery and light bodied, with a lingering bitter, sticky finish. Quite nice! Flavour starts surprisingly mild, given the nose, but the hop bitterness and peppery bite build as the bottle progresses. The crystal clear appearance of this beer suggests this to be a far less enthusiastic IPA than it actually is. Not quite as robust as their Amnesiac, but it makes up for that in the very decent finish.

The Great BrewDad Victoria Pub Crawl - Amber in color clear with a thin head. Nice Double IPA. This was very tasty.

Pours clear deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is hoppy fruity piny citric dome carsmel and malts. Flavor similar to aroma, sessionable with a nice bitter bite.

Slightly hazy, light amber, thin head. All honeydew and cantaloupe, mosaic-style, Very fresh crunchy, yummy, malt taste is actually what stands out first. Decent bitterness, almost pithy, and moving into those melony hops. Finishes with great balance between fresh, fruity melon hops and the best malt character I’ve ever experienced in a Phillips beer. Really good, but it got really chewy as it warmed.

Oh man this is amazing. Aroma of delicious hops and citrus. Taste is the same. Very very well balanced and lots of passion fruit citrus goodness.

Pure citrus flavour with a very very weak pine. There is some malt taste in there but it’s mostly citrus. A nice IPA for those like myself that can’t stand pine.

Aroma is that of grapefruit, citrus and clove. Taste is a sweet maltiness that is dominated by hopiness that leaves a distinct bitterness. Body is a slightly ha, y gold with a frothy head that retains well.

Bottled sample. Gold in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are quite grassy, with hints of white grapefruit and pine resin. Flavours are grassy and melon-like, with white pepper and dusty grains. Fairly bitter and medium bodied. Ok overall, but lacks a certain juicy quality that would have made it great.

Nice sized head, dark yellow/orange hue. Robust yeast, lemon and hops scent. Medium body, quite smooth, and very hoppy. Hops dominates the flavour, but grassy, earthy elements are present as well. Lingering bitterness. I like.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. I’m not getting tonnes of aroma, but there is something there. A little pissy perhaps. Pretty attractive beer. Nice and clear with a creamy frothy head. Taste is what I appreciate most because it taste like bitter grapefruit so quite nice with a touch of honey.
