Bottle. Pour is a little hazy, gold, big white head, shit ton of lace. Nose is sweet caramel malt, tropical citrus hop is the main scent. Tastes sweet and awesome grapefruit, surprisingly no that bitter, spicy. Really good.

Pours light straw, light head. Aroma of fruit, pine, citrus. Taste is light citrus, light hops, and is traditional IPA taste, until the rye flavour hits. Interesting, like 2 different beers in one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy golden pour with a puffy, white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, sweet malts. An underlying spicy malt palate rides through the finish along with flavours of tropical fruits and citrus. Bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2013 Re-rate - Beer 15 in the Phillips Snowcase - no change to comments or score. On tap at Beer Revolution and in bottle from the Phillips Hop Pack (ratings were similar, a little less punchy on tap than in the bottle). This was a deep coppery brown coloured pour with a mild tan foam that faded to a ring. Nose was mango, mandarin orange. Mild alcohol warmth and carbonation (well disguised at 6.5%) Taste is a mild peppery smokiness from the rye grain, mild toffee and caramel malt sweetness, but a boatload of hop punches, citrusy, grassy. Finishes smooth, nice bitterness.

Strong mango, candy aroma. Bitter grapefruit, then cotton candy, bittersweet finish. Quite fruity and hoppy, but feels a bit unbalanced and overly sweet.

Pours cloudy amber. Small head that vanishes quickly, good lacing. Smells of citrus, cedar, tangerine. More floral hop taste with some malt undertones and a rye spiciness. A little on the malt sweet side, would not drink a lot of these. Nice to enjoy ever once and a while. Something different from the Phillips crew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the Hangover. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity, nice citrus, rye funkiness too. Taste is good, nice bitterness, rye weirdness. Pretty nice.

Pours a light gold. Aroma is mainly of citrusy hops. Taste is light on malt with a nice hop bitterness. An enjoyable ipa from Phillips.
