4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle courtesy of a judging pack from the Canadian Brewing Awards. Very pale straw-gold colour wiht a tight white head. The aroma is awesome - bright peppery, resiny nose. A little bit of spice and a lot of juicy hop fruitiness. Lemony citrus and a nice clean bitterness. Really lovely brew - completely quaffable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Somewhat cloyingly perfumed hop aroma. Golden, offwhite head. Medium light mellow body. Sweet tropical, not quite as grandmotherly as in the nose, nice in the end, did not taste like a noble gas at all.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Jaune avec un col moyen blanc
L’arôme d’houblon et du seigle. Le goût est le même, presque équilibré avec du malt léger.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden with a pale head. Aroma is citrus, rye, caramel. Light bodied, bitter on the palate with a little balancing sweetness and a slightly metallic aftertaste. Taste is bitter citrus peel.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice golden colour with great head and retention. Excellent lacing. Smelled pine right from the start which isn’t my thing really. The taste is Bitter pine and grapefruit with rye undertones. Has a spicy after taste, interesting mixture. Worth trying again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Slightly cloudy golden pour with a white head. Sweet aroma with a burst of fresh citrus and tropical fruits, and a very nice subtle spiciness. Flavour is fairly bitter, lots of citrus zest and well-balanced rye spiciness. A touch too much hop bitterness in my opinion, but mostly a great IPA and one of the best rye brews I’ve tried. Nicely done.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
After trying some other Rye IPAs and not being a huge fan I was a bit worried about this, but as usual Phillips nails it. Spicy malty/rye bite with their signature slightly bitter citrus hops. Yum!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pour is a little hazy, gold, big white head, shit ton of lace. Nose is sweet caramel malt, tropical citrus hop is the main scent. Tastes sweet and awesome grapefruit, surprisingly no that bitter, spicy. Really good.
