Big and rich, this London style porter is charged with chocolate to give a distinctive finish.

Poured from a 650 bomber. Thin Mocha colored Head recedes quickly. Too thin for my liking, (think bath bubbles). chocolate alcohol nose. Thin mouthfeel. Needs more carbonation. Body is appropriately a dark chocolate brown. Taste is okay. Hints of molasses. May appeal to some due the chocolate, but I find it comes off flat. Overall I'm disappointed, this was much better a few years ago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On taste: Smooth on to the tongue due to light carbonation, malt and bitterness are the main sensations on the start,a little chocolate in the middle and a mild nice dry finish. On a closer taste i think i can detect the chocolate throughout the beer but it is subtle. Good mouth feel, but not my favourite style, making it a bit hard to rate. 1/2 way through the bottle i am starting to pick up on the chocolate a fair bit more.

Deep brown appearance. Aroma is chocolate. The flavor is Bosco, plain and simple. So is the finish. No roastiness, weird. Too much.

From a 65cl bottle. Pours a clear dark cola brown with a thick tan head. Chocolate aroma. Flavors of milk chocolate. Smooth creamy finish.

My perfect beer. As good as Brooklyn chocolate stout. And I got this on draft. Aromatic chocolate aroma. Velvety chocolate flavor without being overpowering. Mild coffee on the finish.

Dark brown/black with a foamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is light, almost watery, and taste has notes of chocolate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma of semi sweet chocolate. Dark brown pour with a cappucino head. Taste is bitter chocolate. Pretty good chocolate beer, doesn’t really have much more than chocolate though.

Nose is quite heavy cream, hazel, milk chocolate, feel is mediumbroad, taste follows nose with weak cola, sweet corn and rubber

Opaque dark brown pour with red highlights under a foamy tan head that leaves lots of lace. Lots of coffee and chocolate on the nose with a good amount of roasted nut. Excellent bitter chocolate throughout with notes of vanilla. Medium creamy mouth with soft carbonation.

650ml bottle. Roasted nuts, milk chocolate and cocoa. Rich and potent. Great as a dessert, but tends to be a little too sweet otherwise.
