3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Alibi Room. Pours a roasted coffee color with a brown head of foam. Smells and tastes predominantly of cocoa. Brilliant Count Chocula aroma, but doesn’t deliver in flavor -- very thin on the palate. Nice, but a bit of a tease.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle bought in Vancouver, don’t remember where. Pours black with tiny biege head. Aroma: hints of chocolate, milk, alcohol and malt. Subtle. Doesn’t taste much. Little bit of carbonation. Mineral feeling. Way too thin. Disappointing, although it may have some potential.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (650 ml). Shared by BeerGolem, thanks! Gusher. Dark brown with a small brown head and little lacing. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and acidic notes. Taste is very similar, not super expressive. Medium body. A tad watery. Chocolate finish. Short aftertaste. A bit thin and quite boring, but it’s not that bad considering the gusher and the acidic presence at first.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a 650 ml bottle. Pour is black with a quickly disappearing brown head. Aroma is mainly milk chocolate. Flavor is lactic sourness and lots of milk chocolate. Low bitterness. Hints of roasted malts. Overall a bit too much chocolate for my taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep brown appearance. Aroma is chocolate. The flavor is Bosco, plain and simple. So is the finish. No roastiness, weird. Too much.

My perfect beer. As good as Brooklyn chocolate stout. And I got this on draft. Aromatic chocolate aroma. Velvety chocolate flavor without being overpowering. Mild coffee on the finish.

Bottle. Aroma of semi sweet chocolate. Dark brown pour with a cappucino head. Taste is bitter chocolate. Pretty good chocolate beer, doesn’t really have much more than chocolate though.
