3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear, deep amber colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is of floral hops, slight caramel and toffee scents and citrus fruits. Taste is moderately sweet with a slightly intensifying bitterness. Full body, creamy mouth feel, lively carbonation. Overall a reasonable but unexceptional brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared with Grippitis. Hazy orange-gold with a compact white head. The entire profile of this beer is similar to the Kalaidescope-- sticky tropical fruit hops run the show, the malts here are thicker and sweeter, with the expected bitter end. A little sweet and heavy to have drank on my own, so thanks for saving my ass again Gripp!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malty aroma, lots of head and good whisps of lace on light golden body. Fairly smooth body, alcohol residual but otherwise hidden on this DIPA. Certainly better as warms. Decent drinkability.
Thanks for another fun surprise, Duffman.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml brown bottle. Poured carefully into a tulip (some kind of protein haze or snot inhabiting the last cm of the bottle) - bright golden with a thin white head that fades to a lasting ring. No lacing. Nose has big orange peels, grapefruit and some candy sweetness. Taste has zesty citrus/orange peel/tangerine, tropical sweetness, a bit boozy. Finishes with alcohol and grapefruity and tropical hops. Medium bitterness. Overall, kinda torn on this one, quit good chilled, but as it warms the alcohol heat and heaviness overtakes the hops and makes it tough to get down. I feel a bomber is way to big a serving for this beer, split it with three buds at fridge temp and itís more of a winner.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a crystal-clear pale gold with a large but short-lived head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, medicial, pinepple. Extremely boozy, grapefuit flavour ending with a peppery astringent finish. Crisp body, medium carb. This beer could really stand some aging, but I do like the unapologetic hop bite. Nice!

whoa the smell is really weird and throws me off and the color is just what you would expect for a beer that high in percent but the taste is that of almost legendary quailty to blend high alchol with a good tasting beer cheers boys

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The appearance is awesome with a bright golden yellowish body and a sticky two finger white head. The nose has a gorgeous grapefruit and tropical aromas. Mild toasted honey malts with a hint of tropical fruit, light pine and ethyl booziness. The finish is warm, mildly bittered and crisp. This is a boring but boozy beer

Bottle - Earthy pine hops with resin, mango some candy sweetness and alcohol. Clear gold with a rich white head. Alcohol, resin and bitterness with a very dry finish. Too big to enjoy, a little over the top.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle. Clear gold with big, fluffy white head. Tropical fruit (orange, pineapple), resin, pine, cane sugar, background of spicy funk. Hop forward, but not overwhelmingly bitter. Lots of flavour and, unfortunately for my tastes, too much Mosaic. Phillips knows how to build a fine IPA. While I donít love this one, they have plenty of others for me to choose from.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(650ml bottle) Purchased at the brewery for around $6. Pours a medium, white head atop a clear golden body. Great aroma - not overly sweet yet a good citrus in the tangerine sense. The flavour is bold, those stating the alcohol content is hidden are lying - this is a lasting burning feel. Oddly, I prefer this beer to their Amnesiac which I find overly sweet - but this beer is nice because you know youíll drink only one and not be hung-over. Wondering what will come of the 13th anniversary as beers in this province arenít supposed to exceed 12%.
