Missed during beer week. Now finding the bottom of the keg on draft at Khyber Pass several months later. Very hazy yellow orange. Minimal head. Clementines. Orange blossom honey. Lightly toasted grains. Bee pollen. Hints of tropical notes. Medium body. Just enough hops to dry things out a bit. Pleasant but not particularly noteworthy.

Sample @ZBF14 (lost my ratingpaper). Aroma was fruity, grain, fields, flour, pollen. Poured yellowish blond. Taste was soft, dry finish. Fizzy moouthfeel, ok bitterness.

25/V/14 - 33cl bottle from ZBF 2014 (Leuven) @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 20/III/14 (2014-559)

Clear pale orange to golden beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive., leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very metallic, some banana, bit soapy, floral, citrus, bit sugary. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter touch, sugary, pretty spicy, Iím thinking of cloves and liquorish here, bit metallic, some orange peel. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, metallic, hint of honey, but barely detectable, so that was a bit of a disappointment.

Fresh bottle. Pours clear golden with light head. Aroma is clover honey, misc. floral. Taste is almost lagerish - didnít get that spicy kick I expect in a belgian ale. High ABV but well hidden. The honey sweetness is there but not overpowering.

Extremely light in color but not lacking for aroma. Lots of sweet malt and candy sugar. The flavor is balanced with just the right amount of hops and Belgian spice. A bit funky, very crisp and clean. At Pinocchios in Media for Philly Beer Week.
