Nicely bitter. Seemingly well-made. Not a lot of oomph, but clean enough on the finish. A quenching session-style IPA.

Bottle at Hilton Phoenix. Pours a hazy dark caramel with minimal white head. Nose slightly grassy. Grapefruit and caramel with a metallic bitterness.
Strange balance of flavours.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
At Diamondbacks game. Pours amber color - darker than typical iPA. No real nose. Some citrus, but not much, followed by slight bitterness. It's drinkable - that is as far as I will go.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy, apricot colored beer with a big head. Standard US longneck. Smells like beer - a little smoky. Dry, a little roasted/smoky/toasty. Biscuity/crackery. Medium-heavy body. Lasting hop finish. Not your standard AIPA. From the Phoenix hotel market.

Poured a caramel, copper, clear color with 1-2 fingers of white head. Below average lacing on the sides. Average retention on the top all the way down.
Smelled lots of malts up front, Got bread, hay, cereal and honey grass.
Tasted similar to the nose. Got honey malts, bread, cereal and wheat, Reminded me somewhat of a Blue Moon.
Medium body. Thin-to-oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, malty finish.
Pretty much an average IPA.

Bottle; poured a dark caramel-orange with an average of yf white head. Aroma of caramel, must and earth; very mild aroma. Flavor slightly sweet, quite bready, and only a hint of hops. IPA? Not quite.

pretty average IPA. Distinct in it’s slight malt notes. Nothing overly complex in this beer, but not bad

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
malty, no hop aroma what-so-ever. While I read the bottle and the brewer is going for an English IPA style, I think it would have been good to go with some aroma hops. Smells and tastes just like Fretzy’s Pale Ale and the Hoppy valley, except more bitter on the back end. Again, Stop using the same English yeast in all your beers.

This beer is terrible. I hope I just had a bad batch, or it was infected or something, because shouldn’t taste like this. An IPA, I suppose, because of the hoppy astringency. The sourness sort of negates any positive associations I might have with these characteristics...
