pretty average IPA. Distinct in it’s slight malt notes. Nothing overly complex in this beer, but not bad

Poured into a shaker. Medium/dark amber, almost copper color with a cream colored head. Aroma is floral and earthy hop notes. Nice malty base with a mildly hoppy finish. Soft mouthfeel with mild bitterness towards the finish. Very mild, reads more like a pale ale to me, but also quite sessionable.

Poured from the bottle, thin head, kindda cloudy, copper color. Aroma is of dank and possibly nobel hops. Flavor is actually nice. Good bitterness, with balanced malt. Overall a decent ipa.

Pours a light orange color with a floral aroma. Beer flavor is earthy with a bitter aftertaste. A light flavor and drinkable beer. Alcohol content was hidden well.

Bottle thanks to Ben and Liz! Pours a clear amber orange with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and earthy grass with a touch of sweetness underlying. Flavor bread and grains notes with earthy grass underlying.

Bottle at J & G steakhouse, Phoenician resort. Perfumy are. Darker I color than most IPAs. Nice lace. Wonderful perfumy finish. Great finish. Hoppy. Very underrated.

bottle. Poured slightly hazy, orange-amber with a creamy off-white head. Citrus hop aroma. Medium body, lower carbonation with a citric acid mouthfeel at the end. Has a light bready malt flavour that leads to herbal hops with a sour citrus note.

Good beer. Citrusy and hoppy but with enough sweetness for balance. Not overpowering. I prefer this to some of the crazy hop beers popular nowadays. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this at the ball games for a ridiculous price. Finally got a sixxer of 12 oz bottles. So, here goes. Pours a honey with slight copper, translucent with a tad of head. Nose is muted hops. taste is almost ’gushy’ (best way I can describe) with particularly muted hops. A bit sweet and watery finish. In critical retrospect, the exorbitant price was not worth it. Still better than macros.

Pailhead (6016) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Bottle: The aroma consists of light fruit, citrus, and light florals. It pours a transparent amber with an orange tinted soapy off-white head that has great retention. There is a lot of clumpy soapy lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with fruit and light caramel. The finish has light grapefruit, lemon grass, and herbal hops. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it’s okay hedonistically, but not hoppy enough for an IPA.
