Cask gravity at Notts BF 05. Think that this may have been getting a bit tired like me at the end of an 11 hour session on the Friday. Golden, no head. Hay and stale malt on nose. Some hop, some acid in mouth. End has dusty hop. Disappointing and not how I remembered it in the Head of Steam

Blond color. Very light aroma. Light taste, but a bit malty, with a reasonable hopping. Decent.

Sobchak (131) - Skagen, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2005
(Cask, The Wharf, Aalborg) - Light straw colour. Slightly floral nose. The taste is slightly sticky, and has a pretty standard blond ale taste, with a light, floral, hoppy fresh taste. I think this one lacks some personality, you get bored with it after a few mouthfulls, the same way you would with a mainstream lager...

Cask. Fruity and a little bitter. The aftertaste is a little yeasty.

Cask@Kingston Beer Festival, London. Initially malty, but finishes quite dry and hoppy, citric, lightly floral. Lightly lactic off sourness which put me off, tastes a bit funny.

Cask conditioned and on hand pump at The Exeter on 19/02/05. Pale straw brown colour. Bit washy, not overly dry, pleanty of hops. I’ve had this before & it was better...

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham, "Dry as the desert" apparently - err actually, not that dry. Very soft, watery finish. Malty really and if being polite, it’s very subtle; if being impolite, it’s plain.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Head Of Steam Euston (RB London Xmas Crawl 2004). A hazy appearance and a green flavour to this golden beer was not an auspicious start to the day for me. There was some hop in the background of the aroma and a slight apple taste to the beer. Not in the correct condition but there were signs the beer would be better.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and lightly hoppy. The flavor is sweet, lightly hoppy and lightly flowery. A really good thirst quencher on an Indian Summer day in Copenhagen.

Floral, citrus hops and biscuity malts in the aroma. Clear, yellow-golden body is topped by a decent and lasting, white head that coats the glass. Floral, citrus hops and biscuity malt flavours with well balanced bitterness in the finish. Light refreshing body with moderate carbonation. Cask sampled at GBBF 2005.
