Can in Cape Town. Rather dark yellow, not gold. Skimpy head. Sweet, industrial, canned fruit salad aroma with unmasked phenols. Candylike, although it vanishes pretty fast off the palate and some stale pellet hops do help with that. Mushy ripe and green unripe pears. Pretty unpleasant!

Skyview (5023) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2009
Sampled from 330 ml aluminum can that was supplied by Nuffield. Pours a clear golden straw brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates nearly clean. Aroma of light golden grain malt, corn and a hint of grassy hops. Taste is light bodied plenty of carbonation with a light corn/grain malt flavor with a hint of lemon zest. Finish is light beer watery with a fast disappearing popcorn aftertaste.

Pours a yellow colour with small white head and sweet dusty nose. Sweet malty and faint hoppy with notes of grain and cereals. Only good thing about this beer....hmm...new country.

330ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. A typical global lager. Drinkable - fairly neutral palate. An awareness of malt, and a decent rub of tobacco hops. Lingering dry bitterness.

Clear pale golden colour with tiny white head. Malt, grain and some sweetness in aroma. Malt, corn and mild fruity sweetness in flavour. Not an unforgettable moment but not that bad either.

From Utobeer in London. Golden body, slight head. Malty nose. Watery and grassy flavour, some grainy/cereal too. Not much to it, beyond the country it’s from.
