Cask Stillage at the Lowes Arms, Denton 23/07/2004 Dark red coloured with fruity bubble gum flavour. Crisp smooth slightly dry bitter finish.

A strange brew, this. Dark brown in colour, almost black, but the aroma is of honey and flowers rather than roastiness. Sweetish, honeyed taste, some caramal and roast, then a flowery, full, malty finish. After drinking this I decided Phoenix are definitely one of my favourite brewers! (Cask @ Lowes Arms, Denton)
