Not bad. Tastes of roasted nutty malts with some caramel sweetness. Nice appearance with some descent head.

If I remember correctly I tasted this at KBC Den Bosch 2010. From bottle. Clear dark amber color. Smell malts, caramel, roastyness, pretty nice actually. Taste is a little less good, taste some spices I think? Low body, soft carbonation, watery texture.

Home 20110225 (30 cl bottle): A clear amber beer with enough brown foam. A nice roasted malty aroma with a coffee, caramel and some fruit-like smell (wood, vanille, nuts). The taste is malty (roasted), some chocolate, rye, caramel.Taste not really in balance with to much CO2 and in the ens sticky sweet.

Bottle 300ml. @ home.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a large to huge and speaking, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, roasted - nutty - earth, nut peel dusty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, dark malt dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110206]

Bottle at yespr. Hazy orange brown coloured with a huge off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and spices. Sweet flavour of caramel, spices and hops. Sweet finish.

Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and nuts. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, nuts and cocoa. Finished sweet.

Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, nuts, and fruit, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a dense off-white head. Sweet roasted malt in the nose. Light body, some roast and a little sweet licorice. No bitterness. 121010

30 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a tan head. Aroma is fruity, estery, roasted malt and fruity. Caramelish and fruity. Yeasty and slight estery. Fruity and yeasty finish.

Bottled. Cloudy dark brown, large brownish head. Aroma of caramel malt, toast, wheat, bit earthy hops, hint of banana perhaps. Bit sweet taste, wheaty. Slight bitter. I was expecting more of a belgian double, but now that I see style is a dunkel, some things fall into place actually. Resembles more a dunkel.
