0,5L can. No considerable aroma. Stained watery taste. Sour and little hops coming. Probably not quality. Watery stuff. No way.

Typical looks, aoma and taste for a mass poduced lager beer sold in warm countries. But because it is a warm country, still doale. (Malta 201604)

Picked up at a supermarket in Panama City, Panama. This is basically comparable to the better macro lagers that they have here. Nothing special

It is an eternal boring lager. The appereance is yellow-gold, normal white foam, average carbonation. The taste is too sweet and metalic and watery, not enjoyable at all and the hop doesn’t exist. I drank this beer in Lima after to watch a soccer game.

This is one of the odd imported industrial lagers sold in some supermercados in Costa Rica. The aroma is saccharine-like (nutrisweet) with quiet dirty notes of cosmetics and grime, and DMS becomes more apparent as it warms. It’s medium-light bodied and lightly sweet with low bitterness, and the malt does contribute some richness to the body. Limp and quick carbonation froth is followed by a syrupiness and more of that fruity-cosmetics dirtiness in the finish.

Dorado con transparencia, buena espuma sin retención. DMS, grano, diacetilo, malta maltoso bajo, lúpulo nulo, ligera oxidación. En boca lúpulo de amargor moderado bajo, malta maltoso bajo, lúpulo herbal bajo, oxidación, DMS. Final fresco maltoso bajo, cuerpo bajo, baja carbonatación.

The foam is fine by pouring and has a reasonable usual lager aroma. The taste is, as expected, not particularly exciting for the type. It is an ordinary usual and slightly dull lager which really might as well have a Heineken, Carlsberg or other commierciel label printed. Perhaps the slightly less carbonated than the aforementioned, but not something that is worth noting. As cold thirst quencher is quite good.

500 ml can. Grass smell, nasty. Amber color with a white low head. Decent pattern. Tasted better than expected. Kind of sweet, but with a terrible metallic aftertaste. Supermarket lagers are the worst thing that have happened to humankind. Imagine a world with the same amout of beer, but without supermarket lagers. That’s paradise, men.

@ Sandy Bay, Cyprus. Can (330 ml) from local supermarket (€ 0.75). Sweet and malty with notes of grass and straw, light body with a watery texture. The finish is dry and bitter with malty notes.

Took me a while to find it as it says Phoenix Brewery Holland on the label but now I added the barcode so the next generations can find it easier. Can 330 m, bought at a kiosk in Thessaloniki and brought home, in order to pour it in a lager glass and drink it on its proper temperature. The ABV is 5% Deep golden yellow colour on the body, with a small and thin white head, average retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Stale aroma like it has stayed an eternity in the can but it’s only 6 months since made. Lots of malts and some old hay. Quite sweet, again lots of malts, dirty hay, metal notes, a bit of wet cornflakes. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Not the best out there, I wonder who brings this swill in Greece when we are capable of making our own.

Can. Tried in Cyprus September 2013. Quite refreshing in the intensive and wonderful heat of Cyprus. Worth trying again-I mean Cyprus not the beer.
