(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Amber/copper colour with thick white head. Nose is fruity with citrus and hops. Fruity taste with hints of citrus and apricots. Long, fairly dry, hoppy and bitter finish. Lots of taste for the rather low ABV.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear dark golden. Hoppy aroma odf straw, grapefruit and grass. Dry grassy flavour of orange-peels and grapefruit. Dry finish.

[cask at bon accord] Light hoppy aroma, peachy fruit, some citrus notes. thin on the body, sweet upfront, finish is slightly dry and bitter.

Really hard to explain, very bitter but a little like dry, not really good, but not bad at all. I like the aroma, the foam too.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2010 1. Cask Handpump at Doctor Duncan’s, Liverpool 13/06/2002 Clear golden coloured and very hoppy. Some citrus aroma and a dry hop finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Penny Black, Northwich (JDW) 06/11/2002 Golden light and refreshing with a slightly bitter full hop finish. 3. Cask Stillage on the East Lancashire Railway, Bury 06/07/2003 Amber golden coloured with a slightly cloudy appearance. Citrus aroma. some dryness in a hop finsih. 4. Cask Handpump at the Black Lion, Salford 25/04/2010 Hop aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a dry and slightly bitter malt finish.

Some roasted honey notes, with bittering hos coming in as the pint goes on, not bad, however not too easy to drink.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2010 Cask handpull at Westgate, JDW, Canterbury. Can’t tell whether this is diacetyl heavy or its supposed to have som much buttery toffee on it, but given everyone else’s reviews I tend towards the former. Butterscotch and hop on aroma, bit bready too. OK in mouth, bit sour with hop on finish, which is really quite drying. Default score 525213 2.7/5.0. Re-rate cask handpull County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Loved it, I had two pints in half an hour. The hops were superb. The diacetyl wasn’t anywhere present on this. Just lovely hops, tangerine and orange fruit. Good hoppy finish.

[Cask at Carlies Bar, Copenhagen] A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin slightly lazing off-white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly grassy. The flavor is extremely dry, with absolutely no sweetness and no alcohol, which makes it very thin - like a Danish light pilsener. A boring beer - order only a half.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2005 Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Pours a golden amber colour with a small white head. Fresh, sweetish hop aroma. Flavour is a slightly bitter hoppy one. Slightly malty finish. Feels rather watery, unfortunately. 26-09-05.

(Cask, The Wharf, Aalborg) - Pale amber colour. Lemon and orange nose. Soft mouthfeel, with a slight maltyness, leading into a thirstquenching grassy aftertaste. good as a session bitter....
