Cask conditioned - handpump -Lower Red Lion St Albans. A copper coloured ale with a hint of hops. There is alight hop taste and it is a fairly typical English Summer ale. No more no less.

Pale amber colour. Faint, vaguely hoppy aroma (served too cold by Wetherspoons as usual). Quite a flowery hop presence on the palate. Clean finish. A quite pleasant, sprghtly, session bitter - straightforward but satisfying. Handpump, Lord Moon of the Mall, Whitehall, London SW1.

A Mes rate: Cask at Bar Fringe, Manchester. Amber blonde colour. Very faint aroma but pleasant enough. Mildly hoppy with some peach and grapefruit. Swift clean finish. Straight forward but enjoyable.

Small coarse offwhite head. Paleish slightly hazy yellow body. Vague floral aroma. Dryish floral fruity taste with elderberry notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish fruity wine grape aftertaste with spicy herbal notes. Nice, but a bit low on flavour. (0.284l cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen.)

Svesse (6296) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2006
(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Amber/copper colour with thick white head. Nose is fruity with citrus and hops. Fruity taste with hints of citrus and apricots. Long, fairly dry, hoppy and bitter finish. Lots of taste for the rather low ABV.

Some roasted honey notes, with bittering hos coming in as the pint goes on, not bad, however not too easy to drink.
