UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 Poured from 11.2 oz bottle into pint glass. Thumbs Up for this brewery as they provide a bottled date and a best buy date on each bottle. Appearance: pours a thick, sudsy white head that recedes rapidly with little or no lacing. Color is a clear light golden with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma: smell is exactly like a Euro lager. Dominate grassy and pungent hops with some bread dough and yeast. Mouthfeel: very light and crisp with a dry finish. Flavor: pleasant bready malt and grassy hops, a slight citrus rind in the finish. Overall: a well made and enjoyable lager.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 11.2oz ($2.25): Pours orange with a loose head. Aroma is euro lager, plenty of grain and not very much hops. Taste is mildly bitter, but there is certainly some of it in there, so it is a step up for sure. Somewhat sweet. Nothing great, but really not too bad either. Actually has flavor. Some of that annoying macro sweetness is in there though.

11.2 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: half finger white head that doesn’t last, golden yellow, clear, no lacing. Aroma: yeasty leather, molasses, bread, slight hay, light floral. Palate: light body, average carbonation, sticky texture. Taste: light sweet into light bitter that lasts a little bit. Overall, drinkable, but that is it. Best part is the bottle.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2014 Poured from bottle (cool labeling). Pale gold color and wispy, quickly dissipating head. Taste is simple, with a crisp, sweet front that morphs into a vaguely sour note, all riding on a wave of moderately heavy carbonation. Makes you want another sip/bottle, especially on a hot afternoon.
