Light caramel malt aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Lightly sweet in the beginning with a mild grainy finish.

23-May-08 (500-ml bottle: Purchased 12-May-08 for $2.29 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Like other lagers from Poland, this one is not very enjoyable. Aromas of paper, hay, honey and sweet bread lead the way. On the palate, the beer is less sweet than expected, but paper, rice and grainy malts echo the nose. Light in body, medium in carbonation, and low in drinkability due to stale, lingering flavors making me want to brush my teeth and freshen my mouth. A tall, white head that sits on top of the clear, golden-yellow body builds to over an inch before gradually settling to a filmy layer. No lacing. I’ve had worse pale lagers from the Baltic region, but I’ll need something considerably better to make we want to drink one for enjoyment.

Ludzie z miasta piją piasta :) A na serio to powyżej przeciętnej ale szału nie ma. Jak to jest że jeden browar robi super piwo i czasami też "syf".

Comments: Not the worst beer - there’s always Smutty’s Hanami Ale for that. But this is regrettable, poor and a watery mess.
I liked: the fact that it was Polish. Poles are great people.
I did not like: everything else. This was a poor excuse for a beer.

500ml bottle from Oklahoma liquor. Yellow one-inch quickly dissipating head, looks like a Miller. Skunky aroma. Watery with not many redeeming qualities. This was the first beer I had where I was thinking "Drain Pour".

Pours pale golden w/ a modest head and lacing. Malty aromas are average. Medium nectar w/ good carbonation for a soft and gentle texture. A big malty backbone w/ a fairly simplistic flavor profile however I do detect a bit of vanilla. The finish is mildly bittered. No offensive nuances. A decent brew. This beer is underrated.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 beerguy101 (4825) - Newark, California, USA - DEC 9, 2007
This pale lager pours a medium orange gold color form a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, fairly long lasting with decent retention. Aroma is grassy and grainy with a hint of citrus and some corn. A light to medium bodied Pale Lager. The malts are grainy and grassy. The hops are slightly spicy. As pale lagers go, this one is not that bad, it doesn’t have any of those annoying Pale Lager flavors and no really bad off flavors. There is some spiciness to it as well. Its also fairly thin and watery and fairly bland. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.

Bottle. 500ml. Got this one off the dusty shelf of Topp’s eastern bloc section (not sure if they call it that, but seems fitting since it’s mostly former soviet states and the like). This one pours a pale yellow, no head really. Aroma is sweet, hint of creamed corn, sweet malts. Flavor is on the sweeter side, with some vegetable like unpleasantness in there, maltiness to some degree, and a hint of hops through to the end. Finish has a hint of bitterness to which I give this a little credit....as well as drying out a touch, but not without a slightly unpleasant metallic touch. I stuck my tongue on a 9 volt battery this time. Forcing my way through the bottle, I’m not pouring this one out. Not good though.
