A beer brewed and named in honour of Dave Radford, a New Brunswick pilot who has been documenting his time spent as an African safari pilot for the online NBTV programs Botswana Bound and Zambia Bound. The beer is described as “an East-coast India Pale Ale that weaves intense hop bitterness and aroma throughout a blanket of malt background,” and also features ginger, lemon and rooibos tea as added ingredients.

I don’t think the flavor is nearly as complex as it sounds. Mild, easy drinking.

(bottle - 500 ml) Clear golden pour with a fizzy white head. Very mild lemon and ginger flavor at the start of the aroma with a herbal tea-like flavor. Upon further investigation they used rooibos tea in it. Smooth flavor with lots of bread and caramel malts at the beginning with a very mild citrus and lemon middle. The tea really smooths everything out and the ginger comes through a bit at the end. Very unusual but strangely tasty.
