COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hearty meat ‘n’ potatoes Irish-style ale. Its malty sweetness coats the palate like candy, and is offset in the finish with spicy Goldings hops.

Mildred’s Irish Ale is the Irish Red dry-hopped with local Goldings hops from Southan Farms.

Its just a great red. A good long lasting head wether its from the tap or from the bottle, nice light sweetness, slightly reminisant of maple syrup. Great colour, good body, goes down smooth and easy winter spring summer or fall.

650ml bottle. A nice golden brown color with a decent beige head that lasts fairly well. Pleasant fruity aroma. Light bitter, slightly fruity taste.

Lightly hazed red copper ale with a medium off-white head, dense and resilient. Lots of butterscotch, fruits and herbs in aroma, with vanilla notes. In mouth, a bit too sweet, with the butterscotch/diacetyl becoming a problem, in my POV. Rather thin in mouth. Nice light hops come and help, but doesnt quite do it for me. Still, a decent offering. Thanks Bobby! March 2005 from OKBeer.

Bottled. Strong aroma of raisin and herbal hops. Dark red color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, herbal, very hoppy, raisin, light toffee. Very nice session beer if it was a little less sweet.

Bomber. Pours a medium amber color with some slight haze and an explosive tan head. Fruity aroma, some plum and melon, along with some nuttiness and some mild hops. Fruity flavor, very mild caramel, finishes with some light bitterness. Medium bodied, a bit overcarbonated, as shown with the monster head that forms on this sucker. Pleasant, balanced, pretty enjoyable. Thanks OKBeer.

Wow, what a step up from Kilkenny. Great dark red colour with a solid white head. Aroma and taste, initially, are of roasted smokey nature. This eventually gives way to a nice malty sweetness. Very good.

Dark red, very weak caramel/creme brulee aroma, somewhat creamy weak hoppy finish. A good beer to have with a pub meal - By itself, I would go for Picaroon’s Best Bitter.

Pours red with a creamy barley wine look. Lasting hop bitterness. Toffee, toast, vanilla, and earthy malts. Some citric hop in the finish. Quite nice.

Floral hop aroma. Mahogony red. Biting but also mettalic. Peppery and creamy, sourish finish. An interesting session it was. Bit of nuts. . Light even watery on palate. Nice effort and pleasant surprise again from New Brinswick. Thanks for sharing Mr_kimchee
