Draft at Alla Spina. Pours a hazy orange body with white lacing. Aroma is very faint overall - smells like a tamed belgian ale. Mouthfeel is medium to light with notes of wheat, citrus, lemon and spice. In no way was this sour, tasted more like a refined witbier or wheat ale.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chipalsa (1090) - Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Couldn’t pass up on this one. The body poured a murky yellow with an impressive billowy head. Aromas were full of yeast, leaves, hops and fresh bread. The taste was yeasty as well, but with some light grassy notes all about. I love my absinthe, but it’s just not here. Undertones of old hops and citrus fruit blend well with mellow spices. Very good BUT... how much is needed before I start hallucinating?

Bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Gusher. Nose/taste of dry nuts, dusty grain, grape, sweet malt and hints of dried fruit. Finishes very dry. There is one flavor I can’t quite place, which I am guessing is the absinthe. Medium body.
