Pours a cloudy dull orange with a brief loose-bubbled head. Aroma of pear and dried turkish apricot. Saisonish, notes of quince and tangy chinotto, but overall quite mild. A bit of horse-blanket, but not much. Complex finish - needs a touch more citrus to really bring out the chinotto. Thin body with decent carbonation. Interesting and complex but watery and thin and a bit lacking.

Gold with slight haze and no head. Harsh phenolic aroma is strange and reminiscent of malt liquor. Redeeming qualities include a slight citrus bitterness. Juicy body with low carbonation. Tastes much better than it smells, and has a nice dry finish and a good grainy character and ended up liking it alright.

Bottle at Funky Buddha/Case and Keg tasting. One of my least favorite beers of the night. A cloudy yellow with a hint of orange color. Aroma is weird. Herbs, earthy tones, old wood...not good. Flavor reminds me of a macro lager. Just bitter and really poor.

20070729 Tap at Ebenezer’s. Bronzed golden color with sudsy white head, not at all attractive. Herbal aromas, a bit musty. Very oaky, chardonnay vinous, dominant wood. Palate is slick with a long sweet, herby finish.

Cloudy straw colored with medium white head. Aroma of light spice and malt. Flavor of apricots and orange. Interesting, and better than most Italian brews.

Bottle 330 ml, Appearance: murky brown with green tint, bright white snowy cap. 3+ Aroma: sweet with light zest, flowery aroma, spiced ending with something extra (chimetto?). Finish with touch of green apple. Flavour/Palate: fruity tartness, mellow texture , spiced fig like finish. Mild bitterness on top. Interesting in Italo-wave style.
