Tap @ Ebenezer’s Pub in Lovell Maine, first beer of the night. Poured orange with a bright white ring. Nose was light. Taste was sweet with a nice juniper quality. Tart good and yummy.

Pint bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours a dirty gold color with 3 centimeters of off-white head. The spotty lacing is accompanied by a spicy and funky sour yeast aroma. Flavors include creamy wheat, subtle citrus, subtle coriander, biscuit, and candi sugar. Finishes sweet. High carbonation and medium body. Not bad; this is a standard saison with nothing special going on. Not as complex as the aroma suggests.

Tap at ebenezers. Pours a perfectly clear deep golden with a thin white head and some spotty lace. Aroma is gina nd juniper berry, minty spruce like character, with some pale crackery malts and wierd herbal hops or spices. More juniper berry in the flavor, almsot sharp and astringent with some apple juice character, light pale toasted malts, and a syrupy sweet but fake middle- then turns around and finishes kinda dry and very sharp astrinent bitter. Meh.

330 ml. bottle from Wine Specialist as Sesonette. Orangey amber color with a disappearing white head. Aromas of bitter fruits and spices. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is a little earthy with lots of bitter - like citrus zest - but more bitter. Spice is strongly present. A touch of wood. Finish is dry and bitter. It tends to mellow out with time. Surprising and tasty in the end.

75cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy golden caramel color with a pillowy white two finger head that settles slowly and provides lacing on the glass. Aroma is spicy, fruity and slightly sweet with some juniper and orange peel. Clearly visible large dark particulates. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of nutty caramel, ripe apples, and banana. Light to medium body with a slightly bitter citrusy finish.

This hazy golden beer poured with miniscule off-white head and a sour fruity aroma. This beer is seriously spiced - coriander and very bitter orange peel. The bitterness seems to abate after a few sips. This is a very unique brew that is satisfying but not outstanding.

Draught @ Ebenezer’s. Pours hazy pale gold. Big fizzy white head. Aroma is is big on juniper, hint of green wood, biscuity malt peeking through. Taste is round, herbal, floral, a bit earthy and grassy - very smooth and drinkable. Mellow. A bit of a light grassy bitterness sits on the palate. Clean, pillowy carbonation and medium to light body.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Very nice, surprisingly mild, light and fruity, with chestnut and cheese. Great head, great lacing. A touch of mint, yeast forward and really mellow. Well done.
