A fine golden ale from this top micro.Pictish seem to excel at pale beers & this is no exception,fruity & hoppy & extremely quaffable.

Aug 19, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is nectary and wooden with some mild fruityness. Flavour is mild fruits, some wood and a bit saltwatery notes. Creeping bitterness all the way through.

Aug 16, 2008 Cask at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour, low head. Lovely aroma of tropical fruits, notes of flowers and honey too. Nice hoppy flavour, moderate malts and fruit, then an assertive bitterness takes over.

Mar 22, 2008 Half pint. Gravicask. Straw-yellow body under a thin, white head. Weak floral nose. Spicy fruits in flavour ending on a rounded malty backbone. Quit well bodied, but straightforwardly (evening session at London Drinker BF, 13.03.2008).
