handpump at several Sheffield pubs. Pictish do it again, another superb pale, massively hoppy beer. grapefruit aroma and flavour, a little grass on the aroma, well rounded. very easy to drink, especially for the ABV

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. One of the beers I was particularly looking forward to, and I wasn’t disappointed. Pictish excel at these golden hoppy beers and this is no exception. Lots of sappy, herbal hop presence in the aroma. Grapefruit and some orangey fruit in the flavour. Plenty of body. Very tasty indeed.

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Sweet lightly hoppy start. Smoooth citric, grassy hop finish lifts there beer above average.

Cask Handpump at the Black Horse, Darwen 26/03/2006 Hoppy and fruity aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity. Crisp and dry on the palate with a lasting malt finish.
