Cask, handpump at Marble Arch, Manchester in company of Loz, Baz, Jude 21.01.12 Straw coloured, maybe a little darker with a slim white head. Touch of spicy hop in the mouth, constant dryness, good beer but didn’t blow me away. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Pint with our kid in Stockport. I liked it but... my sheer lack of vocabulary means I’ll have to use the word soapy. Bit hoppy, drinkable and pretty tasty. .

A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown.
Amber colour with a thin but very good white head and plenty of lace. Very grassy hoppy aroma with maybe just a lick of diacetyl but still good. Nutty, creamy malt flavour with some nice background hoppage. Swifft but pleasing nut & hops finish. Not bad.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Nice enough sweet beer. Some honey and lemon, but generally a syruppy experience. Balanced and undramatic.
