Draught (5,7% abv Nefiltrets). Clear deep amber color. Small white head, disappears quickly. Malty, yeast in aroma. Sweet, bitter taste. I can feel alcohol in it so its not that great.

zenkis (539) - Ogre, LATVIA - SEP 27, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 Color - pale, golden with small, fast white cap diminishing in spotty layer. Mild malt, overwhelming hops in aroma, but poor intense. Taste is bitter good, min sweet, no sourness.Below medium body, watery in mouthfeel, min dry finish. This one with "Bauskas Gaišais" is one of two LV lagers who is not "typical" in my opinion -loaded with some aroma hops also, not grassy as mayority. Worth attention.

On keg in Riga. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Aroma of bready yeast and barley with metallic notes. Flavour of bready yeast, caramel, grassy hops and barley. A mild bitter finish with moderate carbonation and a light CO2 prickle. Not great.

Rather sweet brew, lots of soft fruit and flowers. Boiled veg - carrots, califlower. Not the first beer to seek out in Latvia!

Frovigalning (2884) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2009
It poured a clear golden liquid with a small foam that left some lacing. It didn’t have any odor at all. Tasted like a cheap kind of sparkled water.
