1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled 500ml (BB 04/2011)
Thanks to my little brother Kari who brought this from Cesis. Golden color, small white head. Sweet malty, grassy, a bit unclean diacetylic nose. Light to medium bodied. Papery, metallic, sweety malty, harsh but with sweet finish. Unbalanced, unclean.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light gold, tiny head. Grainy, hay aroma. Very complex aroma - all kinds of components - some malt, some hops, some perfume. Taste is also quite complex -malty base and several interesting details can’t put my finger on. Alas a slight hint of veg creeps through as it warms. The finish is like a polish miod - subtly honey-like.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
1L plastic bottle. Sweet malty and fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet at beginning and bitter finish. Not so bitter like some other Piebalga brews.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden with thin white head. Lasting a bit.
Aroma.. a bit of malts, a bit of hops, grassy, some citrus.
Less bitter from all Piebalgas brews, with some notes of sourness.
Quite OK refreshing beer. Not very enjoyable, but if you are thirsty..

1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours golden, clear, bubbly with white head diminishing soon.
Smells like teen after done sport activities, hoppy, boiled, old vegetables.
Strange but taste is better than aroma - mild sweet malty, mild hopped - even light hop bite on tongue. A bit rice in flavor (minus 1 o.a.). Typical hopped lager in LV. Middle body, watery mouthfeel, hmm... not at all dry finish although hopped good. Overall - compared in my small session with "Piebalgas Senču" this one is drinkable indeed - just with nose closed :)
