On tap at the brewpub. Pours a deep golden with a thick billowing white head. Aroma is grainy, sweet with some honey and biscuit notes, a decent hop presence with a bit of herbal character. Flavor is a bit more hoppy, there is a distinct bite from the herbal and fruity hops, still very sweet and honey, biscuit grainy, especially towards the alcohol finish. Medium body and a sharper carbonation. I don’t know, I kind of enjoyed this one

Draft at Brewpub. Pours a nice clear gold. Nose is a little spicy and sweet, mild hop note in the back. On taste, alcohol jumps out, as does an unwelcome and odd sweetness. It is drinkable, but I wish it was more dry. Meh.

7/27/2010: Piece Fornicator... Aroma: Biscuit; yeast and spice; some alcohol. Appearance: Cloudy, tarnished gold color, dull; whispy white crown; hanging lacing. Flavor: Wheat, generic fruitiness, grain and biscuit maltiness; tinge of white grape; flash of alcohol in the finish; strong and gets stronger as it warms; moderate, earthy bitterness in the finish. Palate: Good mouthfeel. Overall: Good, but what style of beer is this? Seems like a wheat bock...

Draught (8% ABV) at Piece in Chicago. Rating #19 for this beer.
