Cloudy orange pour with a nice head that hangs around. No lace. Aroma of grain and some tropical fruit. Mouth is creamy. Taste is full of tropical fruit, pine and a little grass. A mellow drinker.

Wow! Great pale ale. Orange and fresh cut grass on the nose. Beautiful orangish color and a nice thin white head. It’s pretty to look at, but even better to drink. Great flavors of orange citrus, fresh grass, floral, pine, and some sweetness at the back. Smooth but strong. Fresh tasting out of the tap. Really drinkable. This place makes 4 or my favorite beers that I would add to any must try list for Chicago.

Draft at piece. Hazy orange with thick white head that lasts for an hour. Nose is light orange and pine, flavor similar though a bit sweeter, thinner, short finish with more fruit and sugary pine. A bit candy-like in the end. Low carbonation muddles, needs more contrast here, pretty plain as a result.

Pours hazy orange with thin head and decent retention. Aroma is citra hop berry and tangerine character, grapefruit, and sweet caramel undertones. Taste is toasty with berries, tangerine, and grapefruit. Body is medium, thin, low carb, juicy bitter finish. Overall, a great pale that utilizes my favorite hop varietal.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy gold with a white head. Big grapefruit and lesser green and piney hop aroma. Pine and minty hop flavors with a touch of biscuity malt and light butterscotch. Medium bodied. Nice aroma but the diacetyl in the flavor slightly detracts, if not much. A cleaner fermentation and this could be really good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours light copper with a modest white head and a sweet fruity aroma. There is a substantial pale malt flavor with some serious hop bitterness. Happily the malt and hops are very well-balanced to create a delightful taste.

Nose is nice and piney with bursts of citrus here and there. Caramel, crystal malts, and a touch of toast. Pours amber/copper with a great fluffy lasting head and sticky lace. Great looking beer. Floral burst initially, followed by caramel, toast, a little iced tea flavors but not over the top like a not of PNW breweries, light sweetness, and big piney flavors with medium dryness in the finish. Carbonation level is somewhat low, the drinkability is high. A nice APA with solid hoppy flavors.

Draft @ the brew pub. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.
