On tap into a tasting glass at the brewery...One word describes this beer LIGHT. A light straw light in color super clear, light in aroma and taste, and the feel is lighter than water if that’s possible. Now it is smooth to drink with a crisp finish. However, the taste is almost dead, light hops, but skunk is there.
nothing special here, can’t even endorse as a session at this point.

Yellow gold straw color slightly hazy decent white head. Very faint citrus/grassy aroma. Very easy to drink clean and crisp grainy taste. Standard easy drinking tasty beer good stuff.

[Tap] Pours a bright golden color with a nice cap of dense white head. Great lacing as well. Nose is of cereal grains, light grassy hops and subtle fruit notes. Taste is of clean light malts and grains, floral hops and some bread. Great body for the style. Prickly carbonation. Easy to drink, clean tasting and obviously made with quality ingredients. Definitely one of the best Kolsch style beers I have tried.

Every brewpub seems to offer a lighter beer that you feel the brewer is just doing for the BMC crowd and doesn’t put a lot of heart in to it.. This however is an exception. This was a very nice Kolsch. Very lager like right down to that German lager smell. But has the slight ale-ness. Serving: Tap

Clear gold with a white head. Sweet bread and honey aroma. Clean pils malt with a nice sweetness and touch of fruitiness in the flavor balanced by a light bitterness. Light bodied and rounded. A simple kolsch, but a very nice malt flavor and clean presentation. Pretty much nailed it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with a modest white head and a perfumy aroma. It’s pretty good for a lager and true to the kolsch style. There is a refreshing pale malt flavor.

Draft @ the brew pub. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity grainy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

Sampler on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a hazy yellow gold, small whitish head dies to a layer, laces lightly, light haze. Aromas are mellow, grainy malts and bread with faint hop. Initial is lighter bodied, mellow cereal malts, bread, faint grassy and floral hops. Bread and cereal, a touch of eggo waffle, light florals and grass with a touch of weed, faint honeycomb. A nice golden ale, almost Kolsch-like with a fruit essence. Tasty with a clean bready finish.
