COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditionally brewed award winning Kolsch bier is straw colored crisp and refreshing similar to a lager in many respects but is actually a light German ale.

Tap at the Brew Pub, Chicago. Pour is clear golden with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is is really faint, but I get some fruitiness and a touch of earthiness. Taste is a nice, clean , slightly hopped brew. The finish has a bit of the dry bitterness I associate with Kolsch. Nothing complex with this one, though it was a great pair with my Pizza.

On tap at the brewpub. I was fairly shocked to see this listed as a kölsch on this site. It does not seem to fit the style very well. Golden yellow color, but mostly a pedestrian golden ale. I’m not sure I get it. Since there are lots of smokers who patronize this place, I’m sure it is a beer brewed for them.

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear golden in colour with a medium sized head. Very refreshing and very crisp. Notes of malt, metal, bread, fruit and hops. Super Kölsch.

Chicago Trip. Monday 12:30+. On tap. Yellow. Minimal head. No aroma. Delicate lite flavour. I would like a pitcher after golf please. Delicate clean beer goes well with with the spice on my pizza.

Pours a light yellow color with a white head. Aroma is light malt with spicy hops. Flavor is light malt, with lots of spicy, peppery hops.

On tap at the brewpub. The body was slightly hazy gold. The aroma was aples with some hay. There was also a note of dried flowers. The taste was bread crust with some soybeans. There were also hints of herbs in the finish. This was nice and light.

Draft. Did not enjoy this very much. It was like drinking stale, crappy popcorn. Grain and corn.

Draft. The aroma was of grain. The flavor was also of grain with a dry finish. Not very impressive.
