satan165 (539), River Grove, Illinois, USA Nov 1, 2009 aroma is hops that begin floral and end with a subtle ’american’ kick. translucent yellow with fine head. good bitterness with wet cardboard end. very light fruit note late. slightly gritty/grainy. laguerita (111), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 29, 2009 draft at piece. piss yellow. super easy drinking. would like this way better in the summer and seems a bit of a strange brew choice for January. Good way to rope in those fans of the "lites" NobleSquirrel (1094), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2008 Swung by the brew put today, the pils was th only one left that I haven’t had. Poured into a nice mug. Crystal clear with a fluffy white head that goes away. It always amazes me when I have a German Pils because of how different it is from a Bohemian or even a Dortmunder. Clear yellowy gold. Nose is bread and spice with some nice noble hop character. Distinct bitterness as I drink, obvious for the style, finish is pretty dry, not sure why others felt it sweet at all. Very clean and easy drinking lager. Nice! WickerBrew (312), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2008 Not bad considoring its not the most exciting style out there. Its got some good malt backbone but it starts and finishes too sweet for me. A good way to get miller lite fans into the resturant, but if I am there and spending the money I will pick something else. chicagodri (1021), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 22, 2008 I can’t believe they didn’t have this on tap for almost 3 years. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. Mild aroma, just a little bit of hops to it. Very easy to drink, nice to have a pils with some actual flavor and punch to it. Worth a try. drewbeerme (2224), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 21, 2008 Updated: Jun 23, 2008on tap at piec.e pours very clear straw color with white head. nose has a nice saaz hoppy and grainy aroma. flavor is grainy with saaz hop character. pretty hoppy but resembles a macro lager at times too. really tasty pils that i’d love to drink a lot of. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 18, 2008 Pour is clear golden with a thin white head...smell is lightly crisp and has a grainy sweet note...taste is lightly sweet at first and only for a second, then a lot of sharp hoppiness... thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 26, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was transparent and orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malt grass . Its mouth feel is initially smooth with a lingering slightly tingly mellow palate and a crisp clean malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy notes and was well balanced. A very average brew.
