| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was transparent and orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malt grass . Its mouth feel is initially smooth with a lingering slightly tingly mellow palate and a crisp clean malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy notes and was well balanced. A very average brew. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 20, 2005 Clear golden body with a thick, fluffy white head. A well-balanced aroma of earthy German hops and crisp, grainy and grassy malt. The body is light and crisp with fairly aggressive carbonation. Rather clean with almost no sweetness; the lightly bitter hops are subtle and provide just the right amount of balance. Relatively dry in the finish with a mild bitterness. Not at all like PP from DFH, but tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. A nice, easy start to a good evening. iwantalambic (1390), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2004 Updated: Jan 22, 2005Draught, 2005 version: hazed straw, retentive starched white foam. Fruity aroma: mangos, honeyed Saaz, lemon grass, sourdough and faint pale malt. Clean palate that has some fizz, but in just the right amounts. Flavour profile, while not being incredibly deep, is robust: grassy notes up front give way to a long Saaz hop and floral finish. Hints of sap and lemon rind round out a nice example. 7/4/8/4/15
Draught, 2004 version: pours a clear bronze with an thin off-white head. Nice floral hop aroma. The body is nicely carbonated and with strong piney Saaz hops evident and a good malted body. Nice. 6/3/7/4/14

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 6, 2003 Although probably a bit too carbonated, this pils was an excellent match for the old-school East coast-style pizza. Saaz-y hops was completely evident in the taste and the light sweet malt start was good. Again...great pizza! booyaatribe (453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
