tap at Piece with tim and susan. thanks for joining and for picking up the tab!...pours a medium orange brown with a decent white to off-white head.... crisp wet piney and citrus hops make up the nose. somewhat floral asa well.... juicy citrus hops with very little bittering flavors. pretty clean and drinkable. decent carbonation and mouthfeel.

On Tap at Piece with Pantanap. Big, citrusy, grapefruity, in your face beer. Like most of the Piece IPAs, unapologetically strong (7.5%). $2/pint proceeds go to a charity for someone who passed away that was a friend of the Piece staff. The only negative is that it wasn’t distinctly different from most Piece big IPAs.

Tap at Piece. The beer pours to a glowing orange body with a nice white head. The aroma is really fruity with grapefruit, nectarines, and mangos. The flavor is grapefruit, apricots, mangos, and some grassy hops. Dash of pine. The palate is dry and medium bodied. Bitter.

Tap @ Piece. Pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Strong aroma of hops and citrus, smells great though. Heavy citrus flavor, very bitter and a little dry. Another solid beer from Piece, but I still prefer some of their other IPAs. Taking the name from Lost Abbey’s clubs?

On tap at Piece. Poured medium orange with a nice sticky cap of white head.. some lacing as it descended. The aroma picked up sweet pears and grapefruit with a bit of toffee and pale malt backing.. quite welcoming. The flavor started juicy but became drier and unnecessarily bitter.. same toffee with some light fruity sweetness backing it up.. back-end was harsh with raw grassy bitterness and a little hay. Hotter than it should have been on the palate and quite dry.. medium-bodied with a long bitter finish.. the balance wasn’t quite there, but this was a solid drinker.

on tap at Piece. pours hazed amber-orange with white head. nose is really nice, very hoppy grapefruit, peach, apricot notes. flavors of apricot, grapefruit, citrus, extremely dry. smells great but seems too dry for me.
