On draught at Apex. Cloudy dark golden color. Yeasty aroma of dark cherry. Flavor of bubblegum, cherry, yeast. Sweeter than a typical bière de garde, but good nonetheless.

Spicy, sweet summer fruit. Tastes like summer. Very pleasant. Slight alcohol finish. Nice offering. Tastes very fresh and lively.

Amber color with a thin head. Sweet aroma full of caramel and fruit. Mouth burns a bit. Lots of estery notes. Fruity taste with hints of yeast and esters. Nice balance. Really drinkable.

On tap at the pub, looks like this hasn’t been brewed for awhile... The beer pours a light gold that is slightly cloudy, annoys me. A light off white head, no retention ok lace... The aroma is totally dead, I get nothing, bored out of my mind... The taste is pretty boring too, yeast, way too much alcohol, a hint of floral hops, weird sweetness right out of left field. This was by far one of my lease favorite beers of their 8 I had. Skip this.

Draft at Piece. Pours a deep bronze-copper with a fluffy head that sticks around. Nose is quite estery and slightly phenolic. Notes of dark fruits and bit of banana and clove. Pretty clean and sound. Belgiany. On taste, round and creamy with a nice level of bitterness. Pretty solid BdG, though I’m not sure why the hell they decided to brew this style.

Deep amber pour with decent off white head. Aroma of bread, soft touch of malt, hop bitterness. Taste quite hoppy, touch zesty, malty, ripe fruit. Body full chewy/ syrupy feel. Meh

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy but bright amber color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was nicely soft and grain forward, some toasty bready notes with a small citric and spiced character. Flavor starts with an initial bready sweetness, softly citric before picking up a sharper spicy character the rides through the finish with yeast and some clove notes. Crisp and slightly dry in the finish. Medium body and a sharper carbonation. Not a bad offering

On tap at Piece. . Dark amber pour like a plum color with small off-white head. Some fruit aroma with a nice mellow malt character on the pallet. Like a triple stlyed beer with a bit over the top hops and a smooth dominate bread malt flavor, didn’t think this was a Biere de garde thought it was a triple.

Unusual Biere de Garde. More hoppy than usual. Palate was a bit off. However pretty good stuff. Serving: Tap

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a slight white head. Med+ body. Flavor is sweetish, but there’s a lot of hop. Seems a hoppy thing. But well balanced. Whatever. It’s good.
