3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewpub. Pale, corn yellow color. The aroma shows fairly light coriander, parsley. Only the slightest kiss of citric acid. Husky, raw flavor, rice. Hard to lock down specifics, which is one of the things I look for in the style. Nice and sessionable without being too loud. Nice beer in a far underrepresented style.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at piece, ona busy friday nite. Poured golden with some head which quickly vanished. Aroma of crisp hops and malts. Somewhat artificial scented. Taste is soft of citrus and corrinder with a dry finidh and light body. Good for a hot summer, very easy drinking but not complex enough for me.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
aroma is light lemon, big cereal grains. light and without dead, wet notes that seem to be on the cusp of this type of malt character. lively and terribly fresh. flavor is more of the same but mouthfeel is a big tough: watery yet grainy at times. some yeast brightens the mood. barkeep commented that previous batch was well hazed, this specimen however was well polished. the appearance is minor but removal of yeast can only simplify this beer into a one-note song.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the brewpub. Golden and opaque with just a vague yeasty aroma. This drinks with a wheaty character, sweet and citrusy. Good beer for brunch! (#3895, 5/7/2010)

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Filled to the brim so no word on the head and it’s too cold as well. Bad form, Piece! Cloudy orange. Nose is fruity banana, almost hefe-ish. Medium to light bodies but slightly oily which interacts strange w/ the sweet bubble-gum sorts of flavors. Medium strong fine carbonation. This is honestly kind of a mess. I’m not sure what they were going for.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the brewpub: Slightly hazy effervescent pour with a white ring that fades. The aroma is dry and crackery with a pils/pale malt hint and a touch of clove-like phenols. Effervescent palate with an estery flavor. Some banana notes are there but it remains dry with minerally phenols and an herbal mildly bitter finish. Simple, and a bit hefeweizen-like.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Piece. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a small white head. The nose was yeasty, moderately spicy, and slightly fruity. The flavor is more of the same with yeast, spices, pepper, slightly fruity, and a touch floral. The finish was dry and mouthfeel was light. This was refreshing after my walk from GI Clybourn, but average at best.
