Tap at Piece. Gold pour. Not great. An odd vegetal or spicy note leads this one off on the wrong foot. I got some yeasty aromas, but not what I expected. Dusty and weird smelling. Flavor isnít a helluva lot better. Too dry. Too vegetal/spice driven. Even the carbonation wasnít blending well. Poor effort IMO.

Draft at Piece. Pours a cloudy yellow with a fluffy white head. On the nose, itís a touch skunky and yeasty, muted spices, some banana. Taste is much the same, particularly dry and peppery with a thin body. Somewhat spicy and bananas in the taste as well. Ok.

On tap at Piece. Poured hazy pale golden with a well-retained short cap of white head. The aroma picked up spicy peppery notes, cloves, and banana esters in a nice yeasty impression.. pale malts and honey supported.. well-balanced if not a tad sweet. The flavor had primarily pale malts at the core with bananas and black pepper surrounding.. moderate perfume and floral bitterness joined, but didnít necessarily complement the rest of the drink.. finished dry and spicy. Light-to-medium bodied with higher carbonation on the palate.. spices were a little much at times, and the bitterness couldíve been toned down too.. otherwise quite drinkable.

Yeah, it was golden. Pretty light, slightly fruity. Kind of watery. Not sure this was the best choice.

On tap at Piece. I donít know how much of a Belgian this beer was. I thought it was a lighter beer for more of the general masses to like. Pours gold with a thin white head. Light aroma of malt. Tastes sweet and it easy to drink, but nothing special. On another note, this place was packed with a wait on a Saturday @ 1:30, so business is good.

This was pretty weak - very light and bubbly without much hops. Big time sweetness too. Its probably spot on for the style but not the direction i want to head when I am going for good beer. Its nice to see new stuff on tap though, its been a while since I have seen something I havent had there.

From a growler at a tasting a couple of months ago. I like the einkle/single style, glad they are being brewed. This one leaned a little sweeter than most Singels I have had. This looks like a wit in the glass, kind of hazy and light golden/orangish. Aroma has a fantastic yeastiness, along with some fruity aromas including but not limited to banana. Some caramel flavors. This is a little watery, but certainly not bad.

so pedestrian that i couldnít think of a joke aobut walking over this beer. had a draft at piece. looked like slightly dark urine, as urine would the day after a slight amount of drinking. smelled actually pretty closely to the top heavy (which was strangely dark-colored tonight) but was a bit spicier and less appetizing. very sweet flavor. honestly, i stopped paying attention at that point, but i traded the beer away because i liked it so little.

Growler from the brewpub. Poured a hazy golden color. The head was white and left some lace on the glass. Smelled of clove, cereal grain, and subdued lemon. There was also a dash of salt. Light bodied and delicately sweet. I tasted clove, a bit of banana, and hints of yeasty bread dough and citrus. Great sessioner.
