BeerBunker (898) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2015
On tap at Piece. Pours a golden. Orange with a small white head. The aroma is really muted. Slight hops, citrus, and malt. The taste was way better than the aroma would lead you to believe. Taste is off hops, citrus, and pine. Has a caramel malt backbone. Lingering piney hop taste. Mouthfeel is light and very carbonated. Tastes more like an IPA than a pale, but it was really good.

Tastes small batch home made with professionally hopped finish. Great first IPA of the night. No aroma. Colleen liked too. On tap at Piece. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

notalush (5316) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Tap at the brewery - quality representation of the style - soft texture - moderate sweetness - strong citric character, moderate bitterness, but nothing abrasive or too bitter - finish of floral critic, and woody hops, tempered by a moderate but clean sweetness - nicely done.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Fresh on tap. The Weight is a very nice beer, but the batch the judges tried at the 2012 GABF must have shown brighter, as it beat Zombie Dust, which feels a bit silly at this point. Perhaps the debate was over whether ZD was actually more of an IPA. And it's true: The Weight is what I think of from the better traditional APAs, but will disappoint if Zombir Dust is what you want.
