A heavy name for a light beer. A classic American pale ale. Brewed for friends lost, friends found, family, or just the guy sitting next to ya. Take a load off and enjoy. Cheers!

2/19/16 Chicago (16 oz $6 draft pour, nonic glass at Piece Brewery). One of my favorite songs, and an excellent beer. Cloudy golden brown pour with thin white head and lacing prevalent. Grass and lemon scent. Somewhat bitter hops balanced against citrus and lemon taste. Pleasant drinking, medium carbonation, crisp and clean finish. Overall very good offering.

Best beer I have had at this joint. Pours unclear thick orange amber with a sandy colored head. Aroma brings west citrus oranges and subtle lime. Flavor of delicious sweet citrus hops attack in an non overbearing manner with a sweet juicy orange base on a balanced juicy body.

On tap at Piece. Pours a golden. Orange with a small white head. The aroma is really muted. Slight hops, citrus, and malt. The taste was way better than the aroma would lead you to believe. Taste is off hops, citrus, and pine. Has a caramel malt backbone. Lingering piney hop taste. Mouthfeel is light and very carbonated. Tastes more like an IPA than a pale, but it was really good.

Tap at the brewery - quality representation of the style - soft texture - moderate sweetness - strong citric character, moderate bitterness, but nothing abrasive or too bitter - finish of floral critic, and woody hops, tempered by a moderate but clean sweetness - nicely done.

On tap at Piece on 11/20/14, cloudy orange-amber in color with a tan head. Citrus grapefruit aroma coupled with thick yeasty notes. Citrus hops taste with some dry malty finishing flavors. Average carbonation leaving a peppery prickly mouthfeel.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops, pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A solid pale ale.
