Couleur brune caramel, très légère mousse. Nez leger..

Bottle 33cl, kindly shared by Calisky. A dark amber beer with small copper head, nose is very low, on caramel. Aroma is on caramel, sugar, very near to a german malzgetrink, barley sugar, quite carbonated, better than expected, easy drinkable not that boring.

A very dark beer with a fluffy layer of foam. It has a lack of carbon dioxide. The aroma is bitter hop-like. It’s taste however it sweet a sugar, which moves on into a sweet aftertaste. Not my cup of tea.

------- are very opposite! Obviously this family beer, that is served to children despite its alcohol content of 1.1 (and not 1.5 as written here - temporarily :)) should not be judged on the criteria of a man’s beer who likes bitterness and alcohol. It does not taste aspartame, which I support very badly and I mark every time. The sweetener E954 is sacharine. For those who like dark beers whith some sweetness - like some stouts as the very nice Mikkeller from Delhaize, 6.2% vol.), the Piedboeuf Brune is a good way to spend an evening without (almost no) alcohol.

Not my favourite but interesting to try. Reminds me of the swedish soft drink "must".

Clear dark brown colour with almost no head. Sugar in the aroma and sweet taste. Overall, boring and flat.

bottle sample, darker brown /. cola colour with a tanned head, sweet caramel sweetness, candy sugar, prunes, over riped fruits, chemical sweetness, nailpolish, very bad and sweet watery taste, only question i’m asking myself is... why??
