3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Modest head, dark brown colour. Faint aroma of barley, hazelnuts, mahogany. Taste is very malty, lots of pumpernickel and rye. Yet it still has a crisp dry finish. This is a great low-alcohol that finally does the style justice!

Nice, dark red glow comes through this dark colored beer. Smell is sweet, taste also. Fine beer to drink with some food.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2011 head: none
colour: dark brown
smell: chocolat, very sweet, malts
taste: mainly a very sweet malty base with some chocolat and coffee notes in it , but other than that its actually a prety enjoyable beer for those cold times of the year and with a low alcohol volume , great !

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear dark brown liquid, with decend head. Smell is indicating I have once again bought not so excellent low alcohol percentage beer, it’s metallic and malty as so many before. First sip is much better than I expected. Quite sweet and a bit malty, but no metallic taste or anything reminders of ’gone off’ aromas. Hops are well hidden, but perhaps they are the small twist which makes this quite good. This could possibly be one of the very best low alcohol vol beers ever.

Huge and heavy bottle bought for peanuts in a town centre Carrefour in Namur, Belgium. Bready, sweet and very drinkable - rather like kvass. I do like this. If they sold this in my local shop I would buy loads of it and drink it all day instead of water.

Had this one a while ago at a gourmet. Brown colour, little to no head. Malty and sweet. Of coarse it doesn’t have a very strong body, but that was never the intention of this beer. Goes well with a steak. Drinking this without eating something will probably spoil the score for this beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark brown colour, small beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, rather sweet. Flavour sweet malty. Slightly watery body. Rather reminding of kvass. Short sweet malty finish. Not bad for a table beer, definitely better than expected.
