Holy shit, a recovered rate I COMPLETELY forgot about! Got this at a supermarket in Leuven. Poured a golden body with a thick white head. Sweet malty nose, yoghuzrty, slightly yeasty. Smooth vegetabley taste, acidic from time to time, some crap bitterness. Blah.

Is a low alcohol tripel possible? Are tripels supposed to taste like mediocre pilseners? I don’t think so. This beer is pale yellow, transparent, lots of head, and a stale yeasty flavor.

Bottle: What to say about these beers, it’s a low alcohol table beer. It’s nice when you’re young and want to taste a beer you don’t get too drunk from easily. Taste is light, faint, dull and watery. Some hops, herbs, malts and light sweet grainy… Nice to taste/try once guess that’s it.

From 75cl bottle with dinner at home. Clear golden color like applejuice, full white head that diminishes soon after pouring. Smell lightly sweet, malts and lightly bitter. Taste malts, lightly bitter. Low carbonation, low body. I like the piedboeuf brune better.

Bottle from shop somewhere near Antwerp. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of grain, hops some butter. Taste of grain, malt, honey. Bittersweet finish. Not so bad, but definitely not triple.

Geruch unbedeutung fruchtig, muffig-pilzig. Antrunk leicht herb. Wässriger Verlauf mit minimal malzigen Andeutungen im Mittel. Verwässerter Abgang mit leichter Herbe. Murks. Test vom 29.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bit bitter, bit grassy, but overall a lot of water. Nothing I’ll get to excited about but, let’s put it this way, I won’t spit it out. Because after all, it does contain some refreshing quality. Good? no, not at all.
