3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Sampled at Corsica in 2003 in the shadow of the maquis.] This brew was one of the first great experiences to discover and therefore it deserves upper attention for the "wit-crowds". Imagine 40 degrees, opening this brew makes you feel like monsieur Bonaparte ruling the entire world, just ordering them to brew more and only more of Colomba....and Pietra! Vive la Brasserie Pietra!

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a dense white head. Dry and herbal aroma. Flavour is soft herbal to malty, somewhat strange flavoured. Ends mellow wheat-like with a slight annis far into the finish. Too herbal and spiced for my liking.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a short white head. Aroma of spices and herbs with wheat. Soft flavour with some spices and herbs (mainly coriander), wheat and yeast, some fruitiness and slight anise seed in the herby wheaty finish. Gracias a Jesper.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Cloudy orange colour. Fair display of lacework. Herbal sniff with light citrus, coriander and hint of spice. Light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Light sweet flavour with a hint of acidic. Light acidic herbal feel with a hint of aniseed at the very end.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Esperimento decisamente NON riuscito.
_________ENGLISH TEXT HERE________
33cl bottle bought in a wine shop in Genova Brignole; the colour is nearly as pale as modern day Hoegaarden but this one is way more hazy; very small head which goes away in a second. Aroma is weird, acid, chaotic, skunky and overdose of spices which also can be found in the taste, where the leaders are coriander, rosemary and lavender (this one - for my displeasure - in huge doses). A very strange and complex manner to quench thirst, which after two sips may become even nauseating with that strange hodgepodge of tastes without balance or care. A definitely unfulfilled experiment.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very sharp and citrussy nose with lots of grapefruit. Pours a horrible cloudy yellow with no head. Flavour is insipid and sour with a cloying, yeasty finish. Not very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Hazy pale yellow colour, big white creamy head. Aroma is sour and slightly acidic fruity and wheaty. Also a lot of spices. Flavour is sweet fruits and wheat with some hints of spices. An alternative witbier, and good such in my opinion.
